OUR Services

Sistema has a team of recruiters working out of our Austin office. They use their tools and strategic partnerships to build a talent pool specifically local to Austin. Many of the people chosen for the talent pool have experience on State of Texas projects. They have a grasp of the local market in acquiring talent. Not only do they support the requirements that apply to positions in Austin, they service our ITSAC customers in San Antonio and increase the use of the ITSAC contract with local government, K-12, and higher institutions. Sistema also has support from our recruiting team in San Antonio.

QUALIFIED RECRUITING TEAM

Sistema has a fully-staffed recruiting team that actively recruits across all technologies and positions of interest for our DIR segment and are available to the customer.

BENCH – IN HOUSE RESOURCES

With nearly 300 full-time employees and an extremely low turnover rate, Sistema possesses the resources DIR vendors need for their staffing positions. Sistema ensures an adequate number of experienced personnel that will be available for all projects by maintaining a “bench” of qualified candidates. These candidates have both commonly-requested and core/niche, difficult-to-find skill sets.

DATABASE/APPLICANT TRACKING SYSTEM

Sistema has built an in-house Applicant Tracking System called “REX” that manages customer requirements and provides a central point for Sistema Account Managers and Recruiters to track customer needs and match them with our database containing thousands of vetted candidates. Our REX tool allows the entire process of IT staffing to be streamlined, expediting turnaround time to our customers.

CAPABLE SELECTION PROCESS

Consultants are selected after multiple rounds of interviews, such as technical skills testing via third party or Sistema SME. Furthermore, candidates are vetted to determine which consultants are the right cultural fit for customer and assignment. We have access to all the major job boards and use multiple recruiting tools in order to find candidates and post openings.

STAYING LOCAL

Sistema also focuses on the local market by actively seeking local candidates through its recruitment process, meeting them at the Sistema office or many of the coffee shops in Austin. These types of hands-on, pro-active meetings help build our Austin Virtual Bench. We apply the same practice out of our San Antonio office.

PERENNIAL HIRING

Our seasoned recruiters analyze current and upcoming trends in the IT staffing market and continuously hire skilled IT staff based on the anticipated needs of the markets we serve. This creates a high-quality resource pool readily available for our customers. Candidates are offered packages that include W2 and benefits, such as vacation, holiday, insurance (medical, dental, vision, life), immigration (H1, TN1, Green Card), relocation, 1099, etc.

RETENTION AND PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL

We maintain regular contact with our employees who are on assignment through our Continuous Support Process. We actively meet with our clients to discuss the progress of the employee and perform individual employee assessments. By continuing to engage with our consultants and customers, we’ve been pro-active regarding opportunities and issues.

ON-BOARDING AND TRAINING

Newly-hired employees are trained on Sistema processes and technology practices before being placed at a customer site. Sistema also encourages continuous education and offers incentives to employees who obtain industry-recognized, professional certifications and training.
