We are seeking a senior-level Quality Assurance Analyst with experience supporting SaaS enterprise financial systems, preferably CGI Advantage ERP platform specifically designed for government entities, including state and local governments. The ideal candidate would provide functional and technical testing support for financial systems within a SaaS environment and plays a key role in the implementation of CGI Advantage as a replacement for USAS, ensuring financial processes, integrations, and data are accurately tested and validated. The role collaborates closely with CPA Financial Systems partners to support system quality, data integrity, and compliance throughout the testing lifecycle.
This candidate will be working in Information Technology under Application Services for the Treasury and Financial Systems team. The primary role will be responsible for supporting the implementation and ongoing enhancements of the Advantage SaaS platform provided by CGI. Key responsibilities include:

Execute functional, system, and regression testing for financial systems implemented in a SaaS environment, preferably CGI Advantage.
Support testing activities related to the replacement of USAS with CGI Advantage, including validation of financial transactions, balances, and reporting outputs.
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
Perform data validation and reconciliation testing to ensure accurate financial postings and balances during system conversion and ongoing releases.
Support integration testing for interfaces between Advantage and external enterprise systems, including batch jobs, APIs, and secure file transfers.
Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), working with business users to validate end-to-end financial processes.
Identify, document, and track defects using approved testing and defect-tracking tools (e.g., Test Savvy or equivalent).
Collaborate with system analysts, developers, vendors, and business stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve testing issues.
Validate security roles and access controls to ensure appropriate segregation of duties and compliance with CPA and DIR standards.
Maintain complete and accurate test documentation, results, defect records and resolutions in accordance with CPA quality and audit requirements.
Support Agile or hybrid delivery models, including sprint reviews, release readiness, and stabilization activities.

Required Abilities:

Experience supporting quality assurance and testing for enterprise financial systems.
Experience working in a SaaS application environment, including understanding of release cycles and regression testing.
Knowledge of financial system testing concepts, including transaction validation, reconciliation, and reporting verification.
Experience developing and executing test cases and test scripts.
Familiarity with system integrations and interface testing.
Experience documenting and tracking defects using structured QA tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and stakeholders.
Ability to perform assigned work with limited supervision.

Required Skills:

Direct experience with CGI Advantage, including testing of financial modules and security roles.
Experience supporting USAS replacement or modernization initiatives.
Experience supporting CPA financial or treasury systems.
Familiarity with Power BI or Advantage-native reporting tools.
Experience with Test Savvy or similar SaaS testing platforms.
Experience testing financial integrations, including file-based and API-based interfaces.
Experience working in an Agile or hybrid project environment.

The working position is Hybrid - On Site and Telework
Candidates living 50+ miles from the LBJ Building are required to attend in person once per month.
Candidates residing within the Austin area must be in the office 2 to 3 times per week.

	4	Required	Experience performing financial data validation and reconciliation testing, ensuring accuracy of transactions, balances, and reporting outputs.
	4	Required	Strong experience in manual testing techniques, including exploratory testing, edge-case validation, and UAT support.
	4	Required	Proven ability to work independently, provide QA leadership, and collaborate across technical, vendor, and business teams with limited supervision.
	4	Preferred	Hands-on experience supporting or testing CGI Advantage ERP, including financial modules and security roles.
	4	Preferred	Experience supporting state, local, or federal government financial systems, preferably within treasury or comptroller environments.
