Sistema Technologies is well versed in Enterprise Resource Planning. The DIR DBITS contract defines “Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)” as follows:
Definition: ERP is an amalgamation of an organization’s information systems designed to automate and integrate a variety of functions, commonly referred to as “back office”, including financials, human resources and asset management. These systems are modularized and generally highly configurable.
Examples of included services: planning and assessment; requirements development; business process reengineering (BPR); implementation and conversion services; application programming and support services; database administration, system software administration and support; functional support; and training support.
A major energy company was already using SAP for a large part of their business functions, however, the accounting department still continued to use non-SAP systems. After an increased focus from upper management on the company’s cash flow, it was decided to implement the FSCM module. The scope involved migrating the data from the existing systems to SAP, setting up workflows, and implementing custom functionality for the accounting department.
Sistema was contracted to perform 100% of the work. With over two dozen simultaneous projects that impacted SAP at the client site, and continuous maintenance work, the integration was a very challenging project. Sistema delivered this project on time and with exceptional quality. The project was such a success that Sistema was awarded the annual SAP maintenance agreement by the client.
